Marius Zunkel

Marius Zunkel hat Elektrotechnik mit Schwerpunkt Informationstechnik studiert und ist seit 2022 am Fraunhofer IESE beschäftigt. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt vorrangig auf Softwarearchitektur und -entwicklung sowie Industrie 4.0 und Automatisierung. In seiner Masterarbeit hat er ein Kubernetes-basiertes System zur Evaluation und Performance-Analyse von komplexen und verteilten Softwaresystemen wie BaSyx entwickelt. Während seines Bachelor-Studiums hat er bereits in der Industrie als kooperativer Student im Themenbereich Industrie 4.0 gearbeitet. In seiner Rolle als Softwareentwickler bringt er seine Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung der Co-Simulationssoftware FERAL am IESE ein. --- Marius Zunkel studied Electrical Engineering with a focus on Information Technology and has been working at Fraunhofer IESE since 2022. His focus is primarily on software architecture and development as well as Industry 4.0 and automation. In his Master’s thesis, he developed a Kubernetes-based system for the evaluation and performance analysis of complex and distributed software systems such as BaSyx. During his Bachelor studies, he already worked in industry as a cooperative student in the topic area of Industry 4.0. In his role as software developer, he is contributing his knowledge in the development of the co-simulation software FERAL at IESE.
