Stefan Schwenk

Stefan Schwenk ist seit Anfang 2023 als Softwarearchitekt in der Abteilung »Virtual Engineering« Fraunhofer IESE tätig. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in der Entwicklung des Simulationsframeworks FERAL und dessen Anwendung im FERAL Driving Simulator. Dabei fokussiert er sich auf Lösungen für die Automobilindustrie, insbesondere auf die Herausforderungen beim Testen, Verifizieren und Validieren von Fahrassistenzsystemen (ADAS). Stefan hat seinen Bachelor in Elektrotechnik an der Technischen Hochschule Bingen erworben. Derzeit absolviert er seinen Master in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik mit dem Schwerpunkt Automatisierungstechnik an der Rheinland-Pfälzischen Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). -- Since the beginning of 2023, Stefan Schwenk has been working as a software architect in the “Virtual Engineering” department at Fraunhofer IESE. His key areas of work are the development of the FERAL simulation framework and its application in the FERAL Driving Simulator. He focuses on solutions for the automotive industry, particularly addressing the challenges of testing, verifying, and validating advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Stefan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Bingen Technical University of Applied Sciences. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a specialization in Automation Technology at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU).
