DMEA 2024
Connecting Digital Health
DMEA is Europe’s leading event for the digitalization of healthcare. From April 9 to 11, 2024, DMEA will bring together about 16,000 industry visitors with about 700 exhibitors at the Berlin exhibition grounds.
We from Fraunhofer IESE will also be represented via the Center for Digital Diagnostics (ZDD®) at the joint booth of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, which covers more than 130 m². In the project Neighborhood Diagnostics, Fraunhofer IESE is conducting research together with its project partners on an ecosystem for health data in rural areas, because healthcare in rural areas is facing enormous challenges due to demographic change, the associated shortage of skilled staff, and limited infrastructure in rural areas. Michael Ochs, Business Area Manager “Healthcare” at Fraunhofer IESE, will be happy to discuss with you in person how to address these challenges and what our innovative solution approaches are. You will find him at the ZDD® booth in Hall 2.2, Booth D-108. In addition, the progress made in the projects KISMADI, RespiVir, and SODIAPH will be presented at the joint booth.
But that’s not all: As part of DMEA, the German Federal Association of Health IT - bvitg e. V. will organize a panel discussion on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, from 10:15-11:00 a.m. in Box 1, Hall 4.2 entitled “Framework Conditions for AI in Medicine”, in which Jonas Marcello, head of the Digital Health Engineering department at Fraunhofer IESE, will participate.
In addition, Timo de Vries from the Digital Health Engineering department at Fraunhofer IESE will provide insights into our institute at the pitch session on Wednesday, 10 April 2024, from 10:15-11:00 a.m. in Hall 2 - Foyer - Room Ulm “Partnerships between research and industry: research institutions present themselves”.
Please feel free to make an appointment directly with one of our experts from Fraunhofer IESE. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
