The digitalization of manufacturing processes with the help of Digital Twins plays a central role in Industry 4.0 and the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry!

Industrial data spaces that enable companies to share sensitive data in a secure and controlled manner are indispensable. These data spaces not only define the rules of the game for data exchange, but also the necessary infrastructure to ensure simple and efficient use of this data. The Asset Admininstration Shell guarantees interoperable exchange across company boundaries.

From March 31 to April 4, 2025, Fraunhofer IESE will be presenting the "AAS Dataspace for Everybody" in Hall 2, Booth B24, at the joint booth of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft: A solution that enables small and medium-sized companies, but also large companies, to easily integrate data spaces into their manufacturing processes.

We will show you:

• Calculating the carbon footprint of products precisely along the supply chain
• Secure sharing of production documents
• The creation of product passports
• Efficient detection of disruptions in the value chain

With the "AAS Dataspace for Everbody", we are already implementing a data space that can be used by everyone: with our Infrastructure-as-a-Service, we are making the digitalization of your own production processes and easy access to data spaces possible.

As open source middleware, Eclipse BaSyx enables the simple implementation and provision of Asset Admininstration Shells such as the "AAS Dataspace for Everybody" and is already supporting numerous companies in their digital transformation.

Fraunhofer IESE, in collaboration with NetApp and Vicomtech, will present innovative example solutions that enable companies of all sizes to seamlessly integrate data spaces into manufacturing processes.
