The project Bridge-Up focuses on the realization of user-friendly and legally compliant data provider rights and data trustee obligations. These form the basis for the sovereign participation of data providers in trustee models. The focus extends not only to data protection law and the personal data to be protected, but also to confidential business secrets. Bridge-Up combines the technical expertise of Fraunhofer IESE with the legal knowledge of the partners from the University of Bonn. It is the follow-up project to KickStartTrustee – a cross-industry guide for the targeted design, accelerated implementation, and successful operational management of data trustees. Through the Bridge-Up project, the experts of Fraunhofer IESE are making a sustainable contribution to the development and implementation of reliable data trustee solutions.
